The masterfully produced ‘But Isn’t Love Important?’ comes from the mind of Australian producer Litche. The ambient, twisting piece of electronica is full of sweet, delicate melodies and heavenly shifts in texture. On writing the track, he explains, “This song seemed to just happen one day in my studio as I was creating some new drum and synth loops. This turned into something that inspired me along the way and I wrote this song really fast, like in a day”. The main vocals samples come straight from an 80s horror film, adding a human element treated with distinctly non-human sound manipulation techniques.
